Skin bleaching is the process of lightening or whitening the skin with the use of either chemicals or natural ingredients. Most Asians, and African Americans mostly try this process as it beautifies the skin and removes dark patches, freckles, moles, tanning, and uneven skin tones. It is a gradual process, but unwanted pigmentation caused by the sun is fully cleared by it safely.
There are many ways to bleach your skin. Here are some ways you can bleach your skin at home:
Yogurt
Apply yogurt on your skin, as the lactic acid in it has bleaching properties. Simply rub some yogurt on your skin and leave it on for a few minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water then. Do this once a day for a few weeks to see noticeable results.
Oranges
Oranges comprise of vitamin C, and citric acid, both of which act as bleaching agents on the skin. Mix 2-tablespoons of orange juice with a pinch of turmeric powder, and leave on for 30 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Continue applying this once a day for a few weeks to see results.
Cucumbers
Cucumbers on your skin to make it firm, supple, and fairer. Mix a tablespoon of lemon juice and ½ cup of cucumber juice, and apply on your skin for 15 minutes daily.
Homemade scrub
Make a scrub with oatmeal and tomato juice, as both ingredients enhance the growth of new cells. Mix ½ cup of oatmeal with ½ cup of tomato juice. Apply the mixture on your face in circular motions to scrub off the skin.
Almond oil

Flour Mask
Use gram flour as a mask to gain the benefits of this natural ingredient, which promotes the growth of new skin cells. Mix 1 tablespoon gram flour , ½ teaspoon honey, 3-4 drops of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon milk cream to form a paste. Apply it on your face and let it dry. Wash off with lukewarm water then, and do this daily for a month to get best results.
