The skin or the hide of a deer is used for making rugs and clothing, along with other commodities. The tradition of making clothes out of the skin of animals is old and has been practiced since ancient times. The tendency for such clothing items lasts for centuries, and for this reason it is very expensive.

To form the deerskin into a piece of garment, a lot of time and materials are needed.

  1. Soak the deerskin in the garbage can and leave it for 8 days. Make sure you stir twice a day.

  1. Remove the deerskin and let the mixture drain from it. Rinse it then under running water for 15 minutes.

  1. Stick the skin on the plywood as it is wet. Let it dry but not under the sun.

  1. Rub the skin with baby oil and dab a cloth over it to remove excess.
