Tanning beds are the best way to go when it comes to tanning in any season or weather condition. This invention has become a major success as people who like to get tanned are loving it. You simply have to lie in the bed, and with the tanning lamps, the skin changes color. But to know how long to be in the bed and not get over-tanned, a timer has to be placed on it. These timers can stop functioning with a few uses, and need replacement frequently.
To install a timer on a tanning bed, these steps should be followed:
Things you will need
- Tanning bed timer
- Screwdriver
Instructions
- Locate the place where the tanning unit has to be fixed. With the screwdriver, remove the damaged timer.
- With the screwdriver, open the bottom of the tanning unit. There will be lead wires that connect to the timer. On a paper, write down which wire connect with the ports by colors.
- Now remove the wires of the timer, and unscrew the new timer’s base. Attach the lead wires then by following the notes you made.
- Close the new timer’s bottom and attach it to the tanning bed.
