You may have seen a lot of movies where spying on someone and following their car seem so easy. But tailing a car in real life is actually very difficult and it could put you in prison if you don’t be careful. The key to survive this illegal act is by maintaining secrecy and keeping these factors in mind:

carfollowing

  1. Follow the car in an ordinary or less attention-grabbing vehicle. Choose a car no one would notice.

  1. Keep a safe distance from the car. Stay behind and cross the car a few times, so that the other person doesn’t get suspicious.

  1. Tag the car with a GPS so that you can track it further than a visual range.670_dsc06212

  1. Keep spying partners with you and divide distances between each of them. So when one car goes a certain distance, the next will then take over. This makes the target less aware of them being followed.

  1. Wear shades when following the car as it makes you look inconspicuous.

  1. Do not honk at the car or at other cars at it draws attention.

  1. Do not over-speed to stay near the car, or you will end up being pulled over by the police.

  1. Keep your eyes on the target and do not turn on indicators.
