Abstract art takes art to another level, and artists tend to express themselves more better with it, as it offers endless possibilities for them. Adding texture to abstract painting creates a decent piece of art, and makes it a world class piece.

Here is how textured abstract paintings are created:

  1. Select your canvas, over which your painting will be made. A deep edged canvas with a 3.5 centimeter is ideal.

  1. In a container, mix the texture with a spoon, and add some gesso and sand to it. Mix till a thick paste forms.

  1. Apply it to the canvas into your desired shape and style.

  1. Let it dry for a day. It will be rock hard once dried. Using acrylic paints will create a quicker drying painting.
